Chairlift Seeks International Exposure With Upcoming Fall Tour
As if it wasn’t enough to have their song “Bruises” featured on an Ipod commercial last year… Chairlift, Brooklyn’s electro-pop trio, have announced a lengthy fall tour with European alternative acts from Phoenix to Micachu and the Shapes. On the heels of their network TV debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, the band is spending the summer festival hopping, gathering steam for the tour’s kickoff in New York City. Much hype has been made over Chairlift’s live performances, but front woman Caroline Polachek just likens the group to their name, “A long, slow, panoramic trip over changing terrain.” Expect to be transported!
