Vetiver’s Fourth Album, Sub Pop’s First Release of ‘09
For many, it’s not quite warm enough to promenade outside. If it is, however, there is a perfectly good promenading album to stroll along to. Vetiver is set to release their fourth full length album, Tight Knit, through Sub Pop Records. It’s a breath-of-fresh-air album that will be appropriately released on Feb 17 - right before Spring as the days are getting longer. Vetiver is fronted by singer/songwriter Andy Cabic, whose gentle and layered songs warrant a second listen. The songs are mostly laid back and peaceful, while a few stand out for being more upbeat while still retaining tranquility.
