Paul’s Boutique Gets 20th Anniversary Treatment
It took – well – twenty years but it looks like the Egg Man is getting his revenge. The Beastie Boy’s second full length Paul’s Boutique is getting the 20th Anniversary touch. Of course, other than surely B-Sides (which we know the Boys have a crap load of) details are scarce and our repeated requests to the publicists have been avoided like Dusty Diamond’s viral vids. Currently listed as a release of January 27th, the BBoy camp is strangely hush on what will be included on the album other than the originally remastered fifteen tracks.
Don’t fret if you were too young to remember this gem – most ignored its release back in 1989 and Capitol Records saw it as a failure. But by today’s standards it is considered the band’s cult hit and breathrough effort by being so highly varied.
