Volcano Suns Re-release First Two Albums

Volcano Suns

Are you nostalgic for the eighties and especially its raw grungy and punkish music? Well, here’s some good news. Mid-eighties punk/grunge/indie group Volcano Suns, formed from the ashes of Boston’s Mission of Burma, are re-releasing their first two albums. Thanks to gool ol’ Merge Records, Bright Orange Years and All Night Lotus Party will be available on CD for the first time in January. Each album will contain bonus tracks found on their out of print 7″s. These first two releases from the second line-up featuring Jon Williams on guitar and Jeff Weigand on bass were remasterd by Bob Weston.

Both remasters are scheduled to drop January 27th, 2009.
