track review: Friendly Foes Preach Corporal Dwelling

Detroit-area pop-rockers Friendly Foes have released a new single – called “My Body (Is A Strange Place To Live)” – from their upcoming full-length, Born Radical, available in physical form Jan. 13. The song bleeds a Mute Math aura, with chord progressions that sound inspired by 90’s grunge. Upbeat, well-fed guitar riffs lead conspicuous bass lines and loose drums, concocting a catchy but rough-and-tumble indie track. With “My Body (Is A Strange Place To Live),” Friendly Foes revisit 90’s rock and indie in a wicked, hook-laden way.
