stream: Honey Claws Give DJs Bathroom Breaks

Honey Claws

It is a relatively little known fact that DJs need to use the bathroom too. Because of this, Honey Claws has come out with their Bathroom Breaks Series, which contains longer tracks than normal with the intention of giving DJs enough time to use the bathroom and take a break without having to tend to the music. It sounds pretty sweet and it serves a practical purpose. The new mash ups were made on a different type of instrument that they call the Junkbox. The Junkbox is capable of DJing five songs (in key) at the same time. On the lengthy mash up “Words”, Honey Claws brings together the Tom Tom Club’s song “Wordy Rappinghood”, Of Montreals “Gronlandic Edit” and more to one smooth and flowing piece. It has a danceable beat and the looped bass line from “Gronlandic Edit”. Honey Claws is currently finishing up the project in the studio and will be touring in Australia and New Zealand later this month.
