The Boy Least Likely To “Law of the Playground” Due Out March

Boy Least Likely To

Looks like they fought the law and the boy won. The Boy Least Likely To least likely to complete their followup finally get to release their sophomore album that they finished about a year ago entitled Law Of The Playground. Despite minor setbacks, it will officially be out in March and, as expected, it’s full of unadulterated indie pop gems. The song “TBLLT Is a Machine” has an interesting mix of banjo plucking and toggling electronic sounds. “A Balloon on a Broken String” is another happy sounding pop song that can make anyone smile, though with a somewhat fearful lyrical undertone. The band still seems inordinately cheery and hopeful, but what could be more appropriate in times like these?
