Wild Light Release Debut Album
So far, indie superstars the Arcade Fire have done nothing wrong, so we’ll see if this is true as far as their picks for opening bands goes. One band who has opened for them, Wild Light, just released their debut album Adult Nights. The band has also performed at SXSW. Like their indie friends the Arcade Fire, dynamic arrangements and instrumentation as well as grandiose harmonies capitalize their music. The band is from New Hampshire and consists of four friends since high school who decided to create a band in 2005. Their album, Adult Nights, is due out in March 2009. At this point, I do believe there is a myth about anything that the Arcade Fire touches, and don’t be surprised if this band turns into gold or some other precious metal (figuratively speaking, of course).
