Bonnie “Prince” Billy to Help Save Hemlock
The tree that was used to poison Socrates is in danger of being infested by insects and dying off. Bonnie “Prince” Billy wants to stop this from happening, so he’s performing a benefit concert to raise money and awareness to save the eastern hemlock and the Carolina hemlock. The proceeds will go to Save Kentucky’s Hemlocks, an organization serving to raise awareness. The festival will be held on Nov. 21 at the Old Tarr Distillery in Lexington, KY as part of the Tsuga Art and Music show. BPB will perform with Kentucky’s own The Picket Line. The Swells and the Englishman will also perform.
