Anti Gives Us Another Free Sample Album!
If you like music and free things, this has seemingly been the perfect month for you. First Joyful Noise drops their 2009 Sampler and now Anti-Records is coming out with a their own new year surfeit, the ANTI Sampler. Featuring a wide array of artists, from Lyrics Born to Billy Bragg, anyone is bound to find something to look forward to in 2009. Kool Keith and Tom waits are even featured on a track “Spacious Thoughts” with the hardcore, rock/hip-hop group N.A.S.A. The sampler also displays new tunes from Man Man, with “Rabit Habits”, a surprisingly slow song for the group, which is centered around a syncopated keyboard, which sounds a bit old-timey. In different musical sphere, Billy Bragg protests once more with “O Freedom”. This alternative, folk tune is full of unhindered protest - nothing new for Bragg.
