New Music, Free Samples? Thank You Joyful Noise!

Thanks to Joyful Noise Recordings, everyone has a gift to give this holiday season (and it’s free). They recently released a digital sample with songs from several bands whose albums just came out or will come out in 2009. Push-Pull, the Delicious, Grampall Jookabox and Prizzy Prizzy Please are just some of the bands that are showcased on the compilation. Prizzy and Push-Pull just got done touring for the release of their joint effort, an EP titles the PPPPPEP. Prizzy and Push-Pull have a couple of the more memorable tracks on the album. Prizzy rendition of punk is hardcore, funky, danceable and silly at the same time. The title of their song on the compilation, “Ride the Love Bullet”, seems to show the band’s humor. The keyboards and saxophone put a different spin on punk music, but it fits their style. Push-Pull sound a little bit darker with their song “Wrapper Her in Horsepower”. This spastic punk rock song has a structure of its own and has metal influences. All in all, the Joyful Noise 2009 Digital Sample is a great because it’s free, so share it with your friends.
