video: Members of Coldplay, a-ha, and Mew Form Supergroup Apparatjik
Everybody knows there’s no better way for talented musicians who care to ease the world’s hurt, than by meeting up with like-minded folks and forming a supergroup. This is probably why Guy Berryman (Coldplay), Magne Furuholmen (a-ha) and Jonas Bjerre (Mew) have formed Apparatjik. The band has recorded a pleasant, ambient track called ‘Ferreting,’ written for the end credits of the new BBC2 series Amazon. The Amazon soundtrack on which the song appears isn’t currently slated for U.S. release, but you can get it on the iTunes music store right now. So far, ‘Ferreting’ is band’s only track but if your room sports a-ha, Coldplay, and Mew posters, you might do well to pray there’s more. Preview ‘Ferreting’ in the Amazon promo video below.
