Radiohead Welcomes Fans to Remix ‘Reckoner’
Remember when Radiohead invited everybody with audio-editing software to remix their track ‘Nude’? Apparently that went so well that they’re doing it again, this time with fellow In Rainbows track ‘Reckoner’. Six different track components (stems) will be available for download from the iTunes music store for the price of a single track. Downloaders for the first two week have the option of downloading a Garageband file that will open in Garageband or Logic, but the stems are also available in the DRM free iTunes plusformat, which is compatible with other audio-editing software. Remixers can then upload their finished products to http://www.radioheadremix.com where people can listen and vote for their favorite remix.
