Blitzen Trapper Rides Out the Winter
The pride of Portland, Blitzen Trapper will be prolonging their road weary dreams well into the winter. These Sup Pop prog-rockers and Bob Dylan revivalists will be adding a significant amount of US tour dates this fall whilst sharing the stage with several different acts. Depending on your regional location they will be accompanied on the road by Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, Parson Red Heads, Horse Feathers, or Iron & Wine. The band will be introducing their fourth album Furr, which is scheduled to release on September 23rd. This journey will no doubt create a worthy buzz that these North Westerns can use as a blanket to keep them warm when their heater breaks. The tour picks up in Seattle on September 1st and grinds to a screeching halt on December 4th in Portland.
