You may not have been counting, but it’s been almost two years since Matt and Kim have put out any releases. Well, for those of you that have been counting, you can restart the clock, because Matt and Kim just released this new track from their upcoming full-length, Grand. ‘Good Ol’ Fashion Nightmare’ is in a lot of ways the reliable keys and drums outing we’d expect, but this release finds the duo turning down the energy some, and sounding pretty darn whistful. Can we expect more of the same from Grand? Only time will tell. Or, if they play some more new material on tour, you could actually tell too!
