Andrew Bird Flys Fall Tour
And I was pissed when Arcade Fire sold out 3 dates at the Chicago Theater in a single day. The fact that Andrew Bird sold out both dates at New York’s Hiro Ballroom in two hours means that if you want to see him on his upcoming fall tour, you should probably buy your tickets when they go on sale. That is unless you live in Bird’s hometown of Chicago, where he’s performing for free, which probably means that this concert will be similar to last year’s monstrously packed free Decemberists show at the same location. All of this hubbub probably has something to do with Bird’s excellent music, or him being a great showman, or something.
