The Drones release ‘The Minotaur + A Brief Retrospective’
Come September 2nd, no one will be safe, regardless of their labyrinth proximity. Australian quartet The Drones are set to release The Minotaur + A Brief Retrospective on a suspecting public courtesy of ATP Recordings. The EP is comprised of tracks from their two previous LPs, Wait Long By The River and The Bodies of Your Enemies Will Float By, and Gala Mill, which both won and were nominated for an Australian Music Prize, respectively. The EP also includes ‘The Minotaur,’ a track from their upcoming LP Havilah, scheduled for an early 2009 release. And what do you know, it looks like The Drones have also got some US tour dates, for all of us unfortunate enough to live in the Northern Hemisphere.
