Be Touched…Electrically
What do you get when you put Iggy Pop inside a ramshackle garage with a piano? Give up? Confused? You get Electric Touch. The quartet gained their momentum in Austin, Texas, a modern Mecca for indie rock, this decade and the last. Their first release aptly titled Live, is a three song EP which makes use of diminished production value in favor of warm buzz and loose energy. You can feel the sweat this band works up as they hammer home the punctuated fret squeals and rolling drums on ‘Dance’, the most furious track on Live. Check out ‘Love in Our Hearts’ below.

The gents’ are on tour, and now they have some backup with them. Coming to join in on the festivities are the Fratellis, an equally rickety group of lads out of UK.
