mp3: Stereolab Drops Album Info; Tour
Post rock is the new Motown. Nineties pioneer savvy Londoners Tim Gane and Laetita Sadier are back as Stereolab after a four year hiatus and have tweaked their sound once again in the form of Chemical Chords - due out August 19th on 4AD. Look no further than the bands first single ‘Three Women’ which fires off like a racial integration of pop music. Hell, even Tim Ganes said it best: “a collection of purposefully short, dens, fast pop songs.” We just think it sounds cool. This will be the bands first albusince 2004’s Margerine Eclipse.
The band is also planning a tour around the album’s release that will see them all over North American and back. Dates after the list.
