Jaymay

Long Island native Jamie Seerman, known by the moniker Jaymay, will kick off her first ever tour of the U.S. this June. Her debut LP Autumn Fallin’ is a thematic album that tackles an affair and the resulting breakup with the wit and pathos of a novelist.

The reviews, including our own, have been solid. Spin gave the album four stars and said that it held “the kind of surgical precision rarely seen since Bob Dylan’s wicked youth.” NPR singled her out by NPR as one of the “three most exciting artists” of the 1600 acts playing SXSW and the BBC dubbed her the “darling of the New York ‘Anti-Folk’ scene.”

Have a listen to “One May Die So Lonely” as Jaymay fuses rock and pop folk in a way that few have mastered.
