Ah the calm before the storm. We descended upon SXSW and all their pre-parties this week landing directly on top of The Toe Tactic premier - a quirky mixture of animation and live actors to explain a girl’s reaction to her father’s death. There we saw film collaborators and Hoboken feedback wonder-kids Yo La Tengo blast thru a polished set of staples for the adoring crowd. You gotta love the laid back feeling of SXSW, don’t you?
