Explosions In The Sky Tour 2008
If you have yet to witness Explosions In The Sky’s acclaimed live shows, early 2008 may be your last chance for a long time. The Texan post-rock boys posted their plans to “drop off the face of the planet for awhile” after this last tour, stating that “these will probably be our last shows for quite some time.” But what an exit they have planned.
Whatever your opinions may be on instrumental post-rock, EITS certainly are a band dedicated to their fans and their live performances. After an unfortunate family illness
last year forced the group to cancel the remainder of their tour, they are back with a slew of worldwide dates that more than makes up for it. Included in the tour is the
EITS-curated All Tommorrow’s Parties featuring Dinosaur Jr., Ghostface Killah, Animal Collective, and Four Tet among others. The tour is in support of their album “All Of A
Sudden I Miss Everyone” and tickets go on sale this Friday, December 14th.
